Frequently Asked Questions - Location of Filing/Threat Field

This field contains the location where a lawsuit or criminal charge was filed, a court that issued a subpoena is located, a disciplinary action occurred, or where a threat was received (e.g., a letter sent to a blogger in California should be marked as California). You may select multiple locations if a lawsuit was originally filed in one jurisdiction but was moved to another jurisdiction. Hold the CTRL key  (or Command key, for Macs) while selecting terms in order to select multiple jurisdictions. When selecting a state within the United States, you only need to select the name of the state, not the name of the state and "United States".
