Frequently Asked Questions - Searching the Database

You can search the database several different ways. First, you can use the search box located on the database's main page. The form allows you to search up to nine of the most common legal threat fields.

If you want to search in other fields, the advanced search form allows you search all fields in the database. The advanced search form is also accessible as a link from the database search form, in the event that using the latter does not produce the results you want.

When you are using either search form, you can select multiple terms in a single field by holding down the CTRL key (Windows) or Command key (Mac) to select additional terms.

The Database Terms and Fields section of this FAQ provides information that might be helpful, as it explains what each term and field means.
